Watch DivX Movies Online

I have some movies in divx formats (.avi) on my hard drive. I want to put them on a dvd.
if I have a divx dvd player, can i just burn divx movies to a dvd disc just like creating a data dvd using nero software. In other words, i don’t need to do any additional video encoding.

Can you convert regular movies such as avi and divx into high definition HD or blueray movies? If you can what are some softwares that can do that. Thanks

Where can I use divx file types to make movies? I downloaded max media and another one but I don’t get it. Please help.

Okay, well I’ve been to Flick Peek and myVideo and other sites on OvGuide.com and found the movie I was looking for. But it says I have to install an ActiveX player (DivX) to run the movie, otherwise I can’t watch it.

Which sites have you used before and have installed an ActiveX on and have had no trouble at all with it? Some sites can damage your computer if you run an ActiveX on it, and I’m not sure if I completely trust some of the sites to run it on. So which ones have YOU ALREADY TRIED and RAN AN ACTIVEX PLAYER ON IT and have had no trouble at all? (No damage to your computer, unwanted ads, and info being used to get information on your computer.)

By the way, I don’t want to actually download, movies, just watch them once and have to temporarily download them again.
