What would be the best software to backup Divx movies on a DVD in original format (Nero wont do it rignt)?

Im trying to backup my divix movies in original divx format on DVD. After I burn the disk evriting seems to be well and the files seem to be in place , but when I try to open them I cant read them.

My drive seems to be fine . I have no problems reading or writing in other cases .And if I burn the same movies on CD there is no problem at all. And also I tried using another recorder and several DVD of diferent brands whit the same results

Please help.
